Casey, Landis' mother, has to fly down to a remote fishing 'pueblito', where the villagers still fish for their jobs! They fish for lobsters, manta rays and even hammerhead sharks, and not to help them build their palapas!
Mysterious things start happening just before the girls arrive and things continue to grow more and more mysterious when the whale shark tour wind up on a deserted Caribbean island, where all kinds of secretive mysteries unravel while the girls hunt all over the island...
